Mecha is first seen in Mario's world killing a Goomba and taking a Chaos Emerald. During a fight with Mecha, Sonic and Shadow used the Chaos Emeralds to transport themselves and the emeralds to another dimension, which ended up being Mario's world. The only known survivors of Mecha's rampage canonically in Mario Bros. In retaliation, Mecha blew up the Death Egg and went on a rampage throughout Mobius. When Robotnik found out about this, he threatened to shut Mecha down for disobedience. Z, Turbo Mecha Sonic is the result of Metal Sonic fusing with every other robotic Sonic counterpart built by Doctor Robotnik.
The arm canon is replaced with a minigun. Metallix has two shoulder pads, a chestplate with a red gem on it, and grey arms and legs. He re-obtains the dark blue color from from his previous form, now having two red eyes in his visor and white tips at his quills. In War, Mecha obtains the final Chaos Emerald from Boyfriend, transforming into Metallix. In Crush, Mecha uses the remaining six Chaos Emeralds and maintains a super form, having a goldish yellow color rather than his signature dark blue. Mecha also has an arm canon that can fire bullets, rockets, and energy blasts. Mecha has turbines on both his feet and back, as well as wheels for getting around. Mecha's body mostly consists of dark blue with a black visor on his head, and a singular orange and yellow eye.
